This is Grace's all about me poster at daycare.

For Valentine's Grace' daycare had a party so we made cupcakes for her to take and share with her room. I was able to hang out with her for a little while that morning which was a lot of fun to see what she does during the day. The kids all really enjoyed the cupcakes. It was like watching them all over again eating their cakes on their 1st birthdays. It was also really amazing to see all these kids sit around a table and eat snack and also drink from regular cups. At daycare she also gets to do lots of fun things/activities. That morning i got to watch them have circle time, during that time they sang songs and read books. All the little kids do the actions to the songs. They also get to do little projects/activities, for valentine's day they made cards for their parents and little hanging heart baskets. It is so much fun when she brings home the things she made at daycare. The teachers there says Grace is such a good girl and does very well. One time they asked Chris if she had a pet named Cole because she says it all the time during the day and goes over and points at her poster. Gracie loves her doggy.

Gracie loves her Papas. They definitely have a special bond. When she is around them she wants to be with them. At times she does prefer them over her grandma and oma. Which of course drives those grandma/oma crazy. Grace started saying papa before she could say grandma/oma. Gracie has her papa's wrapped around her little pinkie. :)

We were all able to get together in Ankeny at Andrew and Holly's to celebrate Oma Darlene's Birthday. It was a nice day to get together. We all had fun hanging out. We got Oma a new camera for her birthday. Of course we had to try to get pictures of the four grand kids all together. It was the first time we had all four of them together since the boys were born. Let me tell you it is not easy to get them to all cooperate for pictures. The boys are definitely easier then the girls to take pictures of with them not being mobile like the girls.

Grace really likes books. She loves to have books read to her but also she likes to read to you. It is so cute to listen to her babble as she looks through a book. Grace is always walking around with a book in her hand or you find her sitting and looking at books all the time.

Sporty Grace!

Grace's hair is getting a little longer so of course mommy is trying to do girlie things like put her hair in a pony tail. Of course Grace's hair is thin and most of the time her hair is all over the place and has fly a ways. So i put a head band in also to keep her bangs out of her face. After i got her dress and daddy saw her he thought she looked like a little sporty girl. I thought she looked really cute but it also made her look bigger then she actually is.
