Merry Christmas

We had a very busy and fun Christmas this year. Started out with my parents and brothers coming over Saturday and then leaving Sunday but then left Dustin with us for the week. After they left we went to Crystal's grandparents house to have another Christmas. Monday we went to Crystal's parents house for Christmas and then went to 7pm church. Today we went to Crystal's aunt and uncle's house for the last Christmas of the week. We had lots of fun and ate a lot.

2 Months Old

Along with Grace turning 2 months old today she had to get her first shots of vaccines. She did well but of course she cried. So most of the afternoon into early evening she slept. Grace is growing and doing well. She now weighs 10lbs 5oz and is 22 1/2 inches long. We are having so much fun watching her change. We love listening to her cute little noises she makes and watching her give us her cute little smiles. Grace seems to be finding her hands more by her mouth and is sucking on them when she gets the chance.
Cole still likes Grace a lot. It seems like if she isn't right there for him to lay by or lick he finds something of hers and cuddles with that object (such as her blanket or boppy). He is so cute to watch around her. We are so happy that he has accepted her and likes having her around.

Christmas Yet?

The older you get the sooner the holidays come and go. This will be Grace's first Christmas and it should be a lot of fun. Maybe Cole can unwrap her gifts. Since my crazy Xbox took another dump on us we will be posting videos for Oma. Hope you enjoy.

Eight weeks old!

I can't believe Grace has already been around for eight weeks. Next week she will be two months old. It has been so much fun watching her grow and change as much as she has already. Crystal has one more full week off before she goes back to work. It will be an adjustment for us all when she does.
Grace has already been to her first Christmas party this week and has another one to go to tomorrow for Crystal's work. I can't believe Christmas is 11 days away. It always seems like it comes so fast every year once we are in the holiday season.
Grace has been smiling and cooing a lot. It makes our day when she gives us a smile. She is so cute and such a ham a times.

It's for sure winter now!

Things in the Nixt household is going well. Grace is doing better now with her reflux. We don't have every night fussy times. She goes to bed at night and sleeps for 3-4 hrs at a time. I think she is a night owl like her mom still.
This last friday night we celebrated Papa Juhl's birthday by going out to eat at Ruby Tuesday and went to a hockey game. Grace got to go to her first hockey game and she slept through the whole thing. It was loud and we were right behind the maverick penalty box and she didn't care.
Otherwise we have been just hanging out enjoying Grace and her smiles and also getting ready for Christmas. Chris got the house decorated and has started to work on some yummy holiday treats.
