The night of the 26th we celebrated Christmas with my family at my parents. It was so cute to watch Grace and her cousin Toree open gifts. They would both start opening their own gifts and then notice the other one had their gift open first and go check out the other ones gift instead of finishing opening their own gift. They kept going back and forth. Grace also started squealing when she opened her gifts. It was so much fun to hear her little squeal when she opened a gift and saw what it was. Everyone even got to take time to come over and play at our house.

Christmas eve we traveled to Algona to celebrate Christmas with Chris's family. We got to spend that night and all of Christmas day at Chris's parents house. Then we had to leave friday to head back to Council Bluffs to celebrate Christmas with my family. Thank god we had good weather to travel.

As busy as we were running from family christmas to family christmas we ended up splitting up a couple days to open gifts here at home for just us. The sunday before christmas I let Grace and dad get there big gifts. Then the Saturday morning after christmas we open the rest of our gifts, more like Grace open her gifts from Santa. Grace's big gift this year was her Kitchen set, which she loves. Dad got a boomchair for gaming and watching movies, Chris loves his new chair and so does Gracie. Gracie is always climbing up in the chair when dad is not looking. I got a beautiful necklace with Grace's birthstone in it. We had a very nice Christmas.
