Party ALL Night Long

Grace did not want to go to sleep last night. She was up from 10pm to 4am. I was very tired today at work. Good thing I had lots of coffee in the morning. Good Christmas gift idea for me COFFEE or COFFEE RELATED ITEMS. We do have a good routine. At night I clean up the kitchen and do the dishes, make my lunch for work, set the coffee maker for 6 am brew time, set out my clothes for work, take out trash with Cole for last potty break, then bed by 10:30pm. Only one problem is that Grace doesn't know she has to sleep at that time. Night Owl like her MOM.

Just the 4 of Us

Our time with help has ended. We would like to thank our mom's for all the help they have given us these past 2 weeks. You have made the transition easy on us. If we could get Cole to change diapers our lives would be awesome. Let the gray hair begin.

Grace is doing great!

Things here at the Nixt household is going well. Grace did really good last night she only got up once in the middle of night so we really can't complain. Chris went back to work yesterday, so Grace and mommy is missing daddy during the day after having him home all last week. Chris's mom is here this week so it is really nice to still have help while we are adjusting to our new life. Cole is doing really well with Grace coming into our family, he is very protective and always has to check on her. Uncle Wade and Aunt Patty suprised us sunday night and got to meet Grace for the first time, we were really happy to get to see them. We continue to have visitors which we love. Thank you to Crystal's cousin's Bernie, April, and girls for coming over and bringing dinner sunday.

Happy 1 week Grace!

Grace is one week old today. We can't believe it was a week ago already that we were at the hospital welcoming our beautiful little girl into the world. Grace had her first doctors appt. today and she weighs 6lbs 12oz, she is almost back to her birth weight. Today Grace got to go to her daddy's work and meet the people he works with. That was our big adventure out today. Then this afternoon we had vistors, Crystal's aunt Betty and cousins Traci and Dustin. Tomorow we are looking forward to Grace's Oma Darlene to be here, she is staying a week with us yeah!

Another Adventure

We went Menards and Wally World today. Should be the last trip until church this Sunday. So Mom bring some church clothes and then afterwards we will go to Babies R Us. Yeah! We are getting some sleep at night. About 2 to 3 hours she will get up to feed, not to bad. Now I know why you buy coffee for dads and grandpas. I need to drink it just to get the blood going in the morning. Things are going really good. Crystal's mom, Bette, is a real big help. Everyday she comes over and takes Cole out and then makes us breakfast, lunch, and supper. Also she is cleaning up our mess and doing our laundry. So Mom (Darlene) you better do the same cause we are getting spoiled. Ha Ha Ha. Or you can get up with Crystal while I sleep for work. Thank you everyone for all that you have done for us and the gifts for Grace. You are all making her life an easy and spoiled one. I will thank you later when she turns 13-18.
